In property, this is known as “Right-sizing”.

This means, finding the right size for what’s most important to you.

So, whether you’re looking to up-size, down-size or even side-size, Right-sizing is about considering what you need and why you need it to help you make the best property decisions in line with your ideal lifestyle.

What is Right-sizing?

Right-sizing refers to when a person is looking to up-size, down-size or adjust their property situation in line with what is most right for them – because everyone’s property needs are different!

Right-sizing doesn’t necessarily just mean changing the size of your property, however. It can also mean moving to a similar-sized home in a better location to help get more out of your property (aka “side-sizing”).

Above all, it’s about planning ahead and looking at your whole picture to determine the best property to suit your needs – now and in your future .

Who needs to be thinking about Right-sizing?

Basically, anyone who’s looking to buy a property !

Whether you’re a first homebuyer, a growing family or an empty nester, it’s always important to consider the size, space and location of your next property in line with your ideal lifestyle.

  • For some, this could mean finding a property closer to their workplace.?
  • For others, it could mean finding a property in the right school catchment area for your toddlers who are growing up way too quickly.

Right-sizing can even mean selling your family home, moving into something smaller and buying an investment property to set yourself up for the future.
