CHANDIGARH: In a setback to Basant and Pankaj Bansal of the M3M realty group, the special PMLA court of Panchkula on Tuesday dismissed their applications wherein they had sought return of prosecution complaints (chargesheets) filed by the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) against them in a PMLA case linked to the corruption case involving former CBI judge Sudhir Parmar.

Haryana RERA imposes penalty on Yashvi Homes for misleading ad on DDJAY project

GURUGRAM: Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), Gurugram, has imposed a penalty of Rs 25 lakh on Yashvi Homes Pvt Ltd for publishing a misleading advertisement on a Deen Dayal Jan Awas Yojana (DDJAY) project. Yashvi Homes is developing the DDJAY residential project -- Golden gate Residency -- at Sector 3, Farukhnagar, Gurugram.

Bombay HC slams SRA for giving just seven-day notice to Worli residents to vacate

MUMBAI: The Bombay high court frowned on the Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) for a short notice it gave to original slum dwellers for their eviction after almost two decades of residence in what they were told was “permanent alternate accommodation “ and said henceforth authorise ought not to issue notices mentioning only “hours” though the law provides for it.
