Real connection is more than working in an office

Real connection is more than working in an office

Oh my gosh! Who would have thought it was possible to have an engaged and connected team without actually working in an office??

I'm here to say, it's real and it's possible. I've done it for 20 years; they work, we work, it works.?

I recently celebrated my 51st birthday- IKR.. 'officially' over the hill and on the downhill run.. I digress. Let me rephrase.. ?I recently celebrated another year on the 'journey of life' and usually I receive the 'group' email card from my team which says lovely things but often makes me think admin has 'passed it around' so people feel obliged to write something, you know? ?

This year I was delighted to receive several individual emails from my team - organically! It made my birthday even more special.?

Here's a few of them:?

'Happiest birthday to you. I love that I get to work and do life with you! You inspire me always! Your generous caring and giving heart makes me never want to leave Momentum'?

'Wishing you a happy birthday today.. thank you for being such an awesome leader and inspiration. I really enjoy working with you and look forward to many more years at Momentum'

'A little message to say I hope you have a wonderful day'?

'Happiest of birthdays Lisa! I hope you are having a wonderful day. Thank you for all your support and for being a great boss lady! Truly love being part of the Momentum team!'?

'I wanted to wish you a very happy birthday. I hope today is filled with little surprises that make the day great.'?

Spoiler alert- this kind of connection with my team was not achieved by working together in an office. It wasn't even achieved by water cooler moments, endless face-to-face meetings, morning teas, and wellness campaigns (including the bonus fruit box).?

Everyone works from home - full-time.?

If this is the kind of flexibility you'd love to offer but you're afraid you're forfeiting connection with your team to make it happen, I'm here to help.?

Book an RTQ quick shot for a confidential, obligation-free chat.

Work from anywhere- it's a win for your people, it's a win for you, it's a win for business.?

To your thriving remote team,

Lisa
