Real Change. Real Power.

To fulfilling even more of your truth
You know that change you’ve been wanting to make, but haven’t found time for, haven't been effective at, or are simply avoiding? Here’s what will make the difference you desire. Three key things, and a new way of seeing them.
Courage – “Gotta get me some courage.” Consider: You already have courage. It’s in your very nature. The problem is that it’s buried under years of discouragement: failures you haven’t put closure on, statements other people made that you’ve clung to unconsciously as if they were true, ideas you’ve made into obstacles (like, “It’s too hard,” “I’m not good enough,” or “I’ll get in trouble.”).
What there is to do – Clear all the thoughts and feelings from your past that are covering up your innate courage. The best way to do this is to meditate. A lot. I’m not talking about a quick couple of deep breaths, and then back to your busy life. I’m talking about going deep, spending a half-hour on your lunch break, an hour on Saturday morning, AND 15 minutes between driving to work and setting about the day’s tasks. In all those moments when you’d otherwise let the old mental tapes cloud your focus and power, now connect with Truth, your Heart of Hearts, the Source of All.
Vision – “I already know what I’m up to.” Consider: If your vision isn’t unfolding, you haven’t articulated certain key elements. Have you identified the central quality that wants to blossom, something like dignity, light, partnership, freedom? Have you seen in your mind’s eye the full impact of the change you intend? Have you countenanced the challenging conversations you will need to conduct, and how you mean to lead them?
What there is to do – Clear all the thoughts and feelings that distract from experiencing your vision completely in all its vividness. Meditate often and deeply on the fundamental qualities of your vision; they contain the causal powers that bring your vision into real existence. Sit quietly and often with each thought and emotion that would resist the realization of your vision; sit with these thoughts and emotions until they fade away. Contemplate the newness of life that your vision implicates.
Team – “I’m going to have to go it alone.” Consider: Like any great idea—social, scientific, or spiritual—your vision grows in reality the more it is shared. If it only lives in your head, it’s significance is no more than that of a hallucination. Teamwork weeds out every idiosyncratic or selfish germ that might prevent fulfillment. The notion that leadership means standing apart and acting differently from others stifles your vision’s ability take root and grow. Teamwork is the soil which nourishes its accomplishment.?
What there is to do -?1) Invite others to a Mastermind group (I can help you with this.) 2) Map out time in your calendar to reflect your true commitments, including meditation and prayer, taking action for fulfillment of your vision, sharing your vision and supporting others in theirs. 3) Meditate. Leadership is not always reasonable; it’s Heart-led.

Consider this your invitation to a small Leadership Mastermind group of people who recognize that leadership is a relation--not about ourselves but about empowering justice and sustainability. We’re coming together to engage with each other and a powerful Leadership Coaching curriculum, and to take on a project (which we'll invent together), a project that'll bring dignity and grace to our economy. This project will be designed to send a message of love, faith, and hope throughout the country.?Do you accept the invitation? ?
