Real brainstorming techniques to solve any problem: A one hour free workshop
A post-it has 2 sides - one of them is sticky, the other is not. How come 1 person on 10 still write on the sticky side?

Real brainstorming techniques to solve any problem: A one hour free workshop

Last week I recorded a full 1.15h workshop on brainstorming - with a very operational approach to solve problems as you follow the video. It was aimed at a community of Digital Nomads with whom I crossed the Mediterranean sea in April - and the positive feedbacks made me share it with my professional community as well.

The workshop is a condensed version of operational techniques to solve any problem, from discovering what to do for your next holidays, finding your life passion, or crafting an idea for this communication campaign you are struggling with.

The reason I produced this course is that I realised 99% of the people who talk about brainstorming, join brainstorming sessions or organise brainstorming (which means probably everyone who is working in a company or organisation) cannot describe step-by-step a technique of brainstorming.

To me, this means that virtually no one ever used a concrete technique to generate more ideas in groups that if he was alone. Which is a real pity, since our brains are probably the most powerful machines ever created, and that it just takes the right structure to make them work 10x faster.

So I thought I would put an end to the tyranny of corporate brainstorming by sharing how we do it in creative professions - where generating relevant concepts and ideas represent 50% of your pay check. The whole course can be followed on Youtube by following the video below - and it is a playlist of 12 sequences. You can follow them 1 by 1 by letting the playlist in autoplay - or you can start with the introduction and come back when you want.

The workshop is free, self-guided - and will require only a pen and a paper + a timer of any sort (your phone works). I recommend to watch the introduction - and when you have 1.15h of free time, to take your most important challenge ever - like really - the most important one - and use the video to break it.

If you want to download the slides as well afterwards - they are available below, and if you want to know more about why I do brainstorm every single day myself, I am glad to share an article I wrote on Medium, which already gathered a good attention from the community: https://medium.com/@charl2lie/real-brainstorming-techniques-to-solve-any-problem-a-one-hour-free-workshop-da31e2b7d7ec

I sincerely hope learning this technique will help you as much as it does help me - because I believe there is nothing more important than to reach this point of self-confidence that you can generate consistently relevant ideas, when facing any challenge.

Good brainstorming to you
