REAL BOOKS IN YOUR LIBRARIES!

How is your week going?

I visited schools today in Guadalajara as mentioned in my last newsletter. I went to Colegio Mexico Nuevo to meet the lovely new English Coordinator for all 5 campuses and Tepeyac Santa Anita to leave our latest catalog in Teacher Ralph's hands. Tepeyac Santa Anita has had Literacy Pro for a few years and their Xcaret Campus has had it for about 8 years now. I also went by Colegio Pedregal, and a few others in Santa Anita.

The new school that opened up in that area, The Kenningar School is very nicely set up and quite beautiful. Their library is amazing. I can't wait to start filling it up with Scholastic books. I was very happy to find out that Director Flor had already subscribed to this newsletter and was just about to set up an appointment with me, when I appeared at her office door, thanks to the people in Admin.

Many schools are wanting to either open new libraries or add real books to their existing one. Others are interested in creating classroom libraries. It has become even more important for their students to have real books in their hands, especially after the pandemic!

So how do you order books for your library or classrooms?

1) You go to www.scholastic.com

2) Click on CATALOGS

3) Click on New Releases Catalog, check out the great titles and then download the order form that appears below the catalog on the website.

4) Fill in how many you want of each catalog.

5) Do the same for the EDUCATION CATALOG and the SPANISH CATALOG if you want books in Spanish as well.

6) Send your excel lists to my email so I can get a quote in Mexican Pesos for you.

OTHER METHOD:

1) Tell me what you need, and leave it all up to me! I will probably need an estimated budget ( $$$ you have to spend on these books). I will go through the catalogs myself and pick out a variety of books according to your grade levels and specific needs.
