Ready to Take Off
Hey, we’re glad to meet you. What have you been doing this week aside from taking our breath away?
Are you shy? Ok, ok, we’ll go ahead first. We’ve been reading a lot this week. But before we share more about it, let’s play some music.
Better, right?
Book
So, yeah, we’ve just finished this book. It’s called “This is Marketing“ by the one and only Seth Godin and it offers a lot of his marketing wisdom, collected and curated by him for the past quarter century. A truly fascinating read that provides an approach which will be applicable for centuries to come. If you don’t know how to identify your smallest viable audience, if you’re looking to build trust with your target market and you want to draw on the right signals and signs to position your offering, then this book is for you. Here is a quote that we find useful:
“The relentless pursuit of mass will make you boring, because mass means average, it means the center of the curve, it requires you to offend no one and satisfy everyone.”
Seth Godin
