Ready to switch careers?

Now is the time most people are burnt out and ready to embrace change.? I know because I have been one of them.? At 44 I decided that it was now or never to step into a higher purpose and switch careers. I shut the door on a career I had built my reputation and advocacy on and decided to deep dive into something new because it felt right and I trusted my intuition that it was the right path for me.?

My husband is one of those statistics too.? This January we were sitting in a cafe in Geneva talking about how he was unfortunately categorized as male, stale and pale by his female leader and in that moment he decided to turn his back on corporate and join Powerful Steps.? Like me, he trusted his intuition and does not miss the box ticking and backstabbing that comes with a corporate title. He understands his value and his worth which means he does not need to be around others who judge based on race, gender and age.

• Know not everyone is going to agree with you.? I know this to be fact as many people told me not to shut a successful agency and start again.? I ignored them as I knew that I could so I did.

• Know that is about you, and only you.? Your decision making skills and your life choices will empower you to live your best life, not the life that someone else believes you should lead and live.? Jump out of the box you are currently in and start again for YOU.
