Ready, set, grow!

Ready, set, grow!

What is your favourite time of the year? For many, it is spring and early summer. That period represents fresh starts as nature awakens anew and everything around us begins to flourish. It is the time of growth, literally.?

However, I have come to realise that while spring and early summer are about preparing for the summer break – getting things done, wrapping up projects, and surviving the rush to reach that vacation mode. There is another time that offers an even greater opportunity for fresh starts: August.

A dear friend once told me that her time for fresh starts is definitely August. Initially, I debated this. To me, late summer and fall felt like the time when things start to die down, but she offered a different perspective. She explained August is like the beginning of a new school year – a time to reset, reunite with colleagues, and start anew with a full load of energy.

This resonated with me deeply. August no longer means the end of something, but rather a new beginning. It is a time of excitement to get going again. Are you with me feeling the tickling sensation of new possibilities?

Even before summer, I noticed a positive vibe in the media and on LinkedIn. Posts about the IT sector waking up and orders flowing in caught my attention. The market is signalling that we are entering a new mode. Soon, we will need to put speed into talent acquisition rather than solely focusing on sales struggles. These signals show that the overall sentiment is shifting towards growth and forward-thinking.?

I believe this collective belief can boost business growth. The vibe is important and setting our minds on a positive tone nurtures a positive cycle of growth, which is why now is the time to ensure your business and team are ready for this fresh start and the awakening market.

In this newsletter, we explore the themes of growth and the mentality that enables teams to succeed. How can you as a leader support this positivity to create outstanding outcomes? Embrace the fresh start that comes with August and lead your team with the confidence and energy needed to succeed. The time is ready, the positive tone is set, let's grow!

Growth needs steady speed

In business, as in cycling, navigating growth requires a balanced approach and steady speed.?

Reflecting on the questions in this blog can help you understand how to successfully set the pace for your team’s future. Ultimately, the speed at which you enter the curve matters little if you lose momentum for what’s ahead.

Pivotal growth workshops: How to master growth in startups?

What are the essential elements of a successful growth strategy for a startup? This article explores the key components and actionable insights gleaned from the growth marketing workshops hosted by Gaasly , a Fusion Ecosystem company, that can propel your startup toward enduring success.

  • Validating existing beliefs about growth strategies is crucial for alignment with reality, optimizing resource allocation, and enhancing decision-making.
  • Gathering data and making decisions based on it provides businesses with a systematic experimentation process for achieving objectives through learning experiences.
  • In the initial stages, focus is crucial, serving as a foundation to progressively expand and diversify growth efforts.

The story of Gaasly

Gaasly, a Fusion Ecosystem company, emerged from the ashes of a failed startup, founded by Jani Tarkiainen and Kai Lemmetty . Their previous entrepreneurial venture, while ambitious, didn't achieve the desired scale. Undeterred, they channeled their learnings into creating Gaasly , a company dedicated to helping businesses thrive in the digital age.

Drawing from their experiences Jani and Kai recognized the need for a consultancy that could effectively scale operations globally. They envisioned a company that would break away from traditional consulting models, focusing on agility, innovation, and a hands-on approach.
