Thanks to generous funding from the Government of British Columbia , and support from the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture, and Sport, we are proud to launch the #PlaySafeBC campaign, which helps ensure athletes, coaches, officials, parents and bystanders understand and recognize maltreatment and know what to do if they encounter or witness it. The PlaySafe BC program includes practical tools, resources, and training opportunities to support the continued leadership of sport organizations and their members in preventing maltreatment, and to educate and empower participants to help keep sport safe for everyone involved.
