The market for window treatments has changed over the years. Today there beautiful options in ready made curtains and window treatments. So hoe do you know which direction to chose. In my design practice I always prefer to use custom products whenever possible. There is a big difference in quality between the two products. Let me list a few pros and cons for each .

Pros Cons

Custom can be any size, any shape Ready made sizes are limited

Custom can be fabricated from any fabric Ready made have limited choices

Ready made are inexpensive Custom made cost more

Ready made is available and in stock Custom can take 6 to 8 weeks
