My Sunday nights used to be soaked in anxiety.??

From 5pm on, I would watch the clock with dread, knowing that with every second that passed, Monday morning was a little bit closer.

“There has to be a better way,” I would constantly think to myself.??

Monday would come, and the countdown to the weekend would begin.? Standing in line at the company cafe to get coffee, I once heard a lady say, “everyone is just wishing their days away, trying to get to Friday.”??

This is not how life is supposed to be.? Not to get all sentimental on you, but we are here to do something.? To do big things. To make an impact and enjoy life.? Not wish it away.?

I spent 16+ years working my way up the ranks of corporate America.? While I learned and achieved a lot, something was always missing.??

Too much time was spent making sure the right boxes were checked, staying in (and out) of specific political lanes, and working on things because “that is the way they were always done.”??

While the steady paychecks were nice, there was a serious lack of fulfillment.? I started seeing and feeling it spill over into other areas of my life, affecting my relationships and my mental (and physical) health.???

In November 2021, I pulled the plug.? I quit a great job with a great team with a great paycheck.?

I knew that when I looked back in 20 years, I would keep coming back to the same question…

• “What if?”
• “What if I had taken that chance?”
• “What if I got to see what it was like to go all in?”??
• “What if I never got the chance to bet on myself to see what I was capable of?”
• “What if I missed out on a massive opportunity to help others, while making my contribution to the world?”

Now, this road has been anything but easy.

There is a steep learning curve when you make the jump.? Problems that you never knew existed or ever even thought about start to appear.??

It wasn’t that I wasn’t good at what I did.? I was and am.? And I had the experience and testimonials to back it up.

But in the rest of the world’s eyes, I was “another one” who could “also” do something.

This, my friends, is what you call a commodity.? It is not a place you want to be.????

The problem with succeeding as an entrepreneur is that most people accidentally commoditize themselves, just as I had.

Makes sense, right?

If you leave your corporate job as a financial advisor or a web designer and your lead is “I can help you become financially free” or “I can help you create beautiful websites,” you have just put yourself in a box with thousands of other people who are saying something similar.

Luckily, I’ve discovered the solution to this problem.

To get clients without lowering your prices or enter bidding wars with hundreds of other people in your field, you need to:

• Build an Irresistible Offer
• Learn how to create demand
• Be the only one who offers your service in the way that you do

Now, I am not talking about reinventing the wheel here.? I am talking about basic value exchange.?

It all comes down to an understanding and identification of wants and needs and your ability to build your business around those wants and needs.

Now obviously, that’s easier said than done, right?
