Ready to go?

Ready to go?

How's it going, friend?

Are your days feeling powerful and purposeful?

Or are they slipping away like pearls off a string, heading to destinations unknown?

It's often the case that when we are in the zone, visionary or otherwise, that time passes without our noticing it.

It can feel so connected and fruitful to spend time dancing with the muse and playing whatever song she wants to sing.

But this can also mean that time is passing, passing you by.....

And that can feel painful in the long run.

How?

Ah, yes, my dear powerhouse, the importance of the flow state is sacrosanct in my books but so also is the dreaded 4 letter word: PLAN.

Yikes.

Did I have to go there???

Yes, I did.

Having a plan is an essential part of business, any business, but especially a visionary one.

Without a plan, you may end up somewhere you didn't want to go.

Doing something you didn't want to do.

WIth people you didn't want to spend time with.

Sounds terrible, no?

But with a plan, you set a clear path to the place you want to go and then you head out.

Sure, you can stop for bathroom breaks.

Sure, the vista ahead is definitely worth a photo moment.

And yes, you can even head a new direction and go check out something that looks even cooler over there.

But you have to know where you are going ~ and why ~ before you can head out.

I recently had the joy of a solo road trip and I have to say, it was time well spent.

I decided where I wanted to go.

I decided when I wanted to arrive.

I decided what path I would take.

I set the vibes for the journey.

I packed my favorite snacks.

I curated a podcast playlist.

It was heaven.

Even when I was stuck in traffic.

Even when I was hungry because I ran out of said snacks.

Even when the terrain got boring and I wished I was there already.

It was all so very helpful and good.

And when I arrived at my destination, I knew that the path taken was right because I had safely arrived at my chosen destination.

It didn't matter how long it took me to get there,

the location was right.

I felt good about the plan I made to get there.

I celebrated the success of having gotten there.

All of it built my confidence for the next journey I want to undertake.

And setting money goals for yourself can be that simple too.

Decide where you want to go:

  • Downpayment for your house
  • Maxed out retirement savings
  • Million dollar business

All of those are possibilities if you really want them.

But first, you gotta know where you are headed.

Then, you decide the path you want to take:

  • the fastest route
  • the scenic route
  • the ones with the least roadblocks

All roads point to Oz.

You just have to choose which one and head out.

And while you are planning how to get there, consider how you want the journey to feel:

  • Powerful and quick
  • Ease-filled and luxe
  • Jetpack strapped to your back - exhilarating and maybe a little bit scary

There's so many ways to get to where you want, money-wise. And no real secrets.

The path to financial freedom is available to you.

You just have to know where you are headed.

Choose wisely, my friend.

warm wishes & cold cash,

Rhianna
