Ready EDI go! TMMX Awards launches EDI category for 2024

First up, important news from us. The essence of equality, diversity and inclusion and its multifaceted benefits remains a work in progress within the manufacturing sector. Yet, we believe it is time we moved beyond acknowledgement to active engagement and implementation. So, to celebrate and encourage progress in this field, Cranfield University has worked closely with The Manufacturer, to introduce the ED&I Excellence Award for TMMX 2024.

You can find out all you need to know about entering the industry's leading awards programme, including the brand new category, on the 5 and 6 June at 3.30pm in the Maintenance Solutions Theatre at SM&E Week.??

Make UK has published their manifesto, with a call for the UK government to announce a long-term plan for manufacturing within the first 100 days of the election. “This vision must include a long-term, robust, modern industrial strategy that will withstand political chop and change and goes beyond 2030," said Stephen Phipson CBE , CEO at Make UK. The importance of recognising The Manufacturer Top 100
