Making the shift to eating healthier can feel confusing, frustrating, and annoying. It can also feel easy and simple when you start with the basics.?
One thing that can make a big difference immediately is eating more protein.?
Proteins are involved in nearly every process that happens in our bodies. Proteins make up much of our body’s tissues (such as muscle, connective tissues, skin, nails, hair, and a significant percentage of bone), our immune system, and many of our hormones.?
Because proteins have many important jobs, we need to eat a consistent supply of dietary protein at regular intervals to live and thrive and we have to get this from the foods we eat.
No need to overcomplicate this, start simple. Ensure you have protein in every meal or snack (ideally 25g or more) and soon you’ll find that you feel fuller, have less cravings for junk food, and more energy to move through your busy day.?
Start today. It won’t take long to feel the impact and once you’ve got that change locked in, you can stack on your next healthy habit.?
