Ready to convert! Former Rugby player and fan Dominic appointed as Multitone’s New Business Manager!

A passionate drive to succeed has been a hallmark of Dominic Matthews ’ life. Born and raised in a small town between Liverpool and Manchester, Dominic is an ardent competitor on and off the sports field, having played both football and rugby league as a young man. Recently, Dominic began his next challenge as New Business Manager for Multitone Electronics, a leading UK provider of rapid, reliable, secure communications technologies worldwide.

A graduate of the University of Manchester, Dominic has had a long-term interest in technology and business development. He believes that his natural aptitude for soft skills lends itself particularly well to this type of work; which when combined with technology’s ever-changing landscape made the move to Multitone extremely appealing.

Dominic explained the reasons behind his decision to apply:

“Multitone is fortunate to have such a wealth of experience amongst its employees, many of whom have worked for the company for years – and in some cases, a few decades. This loyalty and longevity of service is impressive. Multitone’s continued market leader presence and its innovative products were also key factors in persuading me to apply.

“As Multitone’s New Business Manager, it is my role to source both new business and to develop further opportunities with existing clients. I have worked in previous business development roles and I am really looking forward to collaborating with my new colleagues as we seek to grow the business. I’ll be working across our product range as we expand our reach and markets; however, I am particularly excited about the forthcoming launch of one of our new solutions – the Multitone Digital Alerter (MDA) due to its aesthetic look and robustness.”

Outside of work, Dominic is an avid traveller for holidays and short breaks – and is a fan of Manchester United. By mid-February 2024 he had already visited four separate countries.

“I’ve always been very interested in watching football and supporting Manchester United, growing up in the glory days which was a blessing. Not so much now, though!” Dominic said.
