Over the past few weeks, we have visited more than a dozen leading boarding schools - from the Isle of Man to East Anglia, and Leicestershire to Bath.?
Two things struck me 1) the efforts each community goes to in providing a quality all-round education that is truly tailored to the individual and 2) their unwavering ambition for each child to help establish a resilient foundation and sense of direction for life.
The Head at Downside School , Andrew Hobbs , put it this way to me a few days ago: “Pupils progress from Downside “prepared for life.”
What is important is “actually that ability to find your place in the world, to play your part and to continue learning and growing,” he concluded.

Working with wealth advisors and family offices...
We had “Fantastic feedback from Sarah Travis of TASIS England , after taking part in the PCD CLUB networking events in #jersey a few weeks ago for 180 leading wealth advisors to families, organised by David Bell and his amazing PCD GROUP team.
Mark Brooks Education showcased UK boarding and day options and brought three top schools to the workshop, reception and dinner.
"It's been fantastic," says Sarah in this short interview. "I spoke to lots of different people yesterday from various sectors... they'll be visiting TASIS England over the next couple of months.
Future PCD Group events sponsored by Mark Brooks Education will be in #Switzerland (September), #Dubai and #saudiarabia (November), January (#lagos), April (#southafrica).

A British education in the Swiss Alps...
