?? Ready?

Dear reader, welcome to the last edition before the equinox, when the day is as long as the night.

The good news is that we were due a camera upgrade - it has materialised!

The just be patient news is that... Just be patient.

There's something about the inpatient thirst of rushing things, photos included, that has a way of actively thwarting the process.

The pictures are probably OK. Is OK what we get out of bed for?

While we wait, there is a very to the point moment I just had. The unphotographable good moment. You know what I'm talking about!

A black sesame tart. Smooth, airy cream... the colour grey. Merely poked by a sharp, seedy raspberry sauce. Nothing that can be seen.

I'm tempted to take a picture

But I know for a fact it would capture

Nothing.

It brought me back to the word. I've always liked the word for this reason. It's an infinite currency of meaning. So are images, of course. But while most stuff in the universe literally cannot be seen (read more here), our thinking minds could probably understand them. Or invent them. Pictures are dimensional. Meaning is dimensionless.
