My Story: Why I Created Shift Left to Accelerate

I remember waking up one day and realising that my career was just not progressing. I was working incredibly hard, sacrificing myself and my family to be the best at what I did, to take on more and more responsibility, and to be what I thought was an ideal candidate for promotion.

None of that appeared to work.

As a woman in tech, the odds are often stacked against us.

We are not seen, heard or respected for what we bring to the table as we fight decades of unconscious (and conscious bias).

It's not a lost cause, though.

????We can change that story.

??I did, and I know YOU can, too.

I had help along the way in the form of a Leadership Coach, who showed me how to show up with more impact, not run myself ragged in the process, and find my courage, my voice, and my presence.

From that point, my career progression changed.

I became the UK&I Operations Director for a Global Paytech. This is not a role often given to a woman, and I got it despite the worst kept secret in the business, that a man had been tapped on the shoulder to get it.

Fast Forward to Now

What I learned and have subsequently experienced, as I also became a qualified Leadership coach, has enabled me to create my business and share with you how you can change the story of your career.
