Ready for 2024?

As we step into December, fingers crossed that 2024 brings us back to some kind of 'normal' after the rollercoaster since COVID hit in 2020. It's been four years, can you believe it? In that time, some folks graduated college, getting a whole different experience than they bargained for. Meanwhile, a new generation of 4-year-olds is gearing up for kindergarten.

And think about it, there are 4 weeks in this month. What can you achieve in that time? Any goals on your mind?

I had this funny incident on a plane once. I was reading, felt something odd, and looked up. A little kid was staring at me! He proudly announced, 'I'm 4! How old are you?' I said, 'Definitely older than 4.' I remember his parents chimming in, 'Leave the lady alone.' But I obviously didn’t mind him at all.??

What I took from that cute moment is the innocence of 4-year-olds—they don't know fear yet; you learn that later. So, as we approach 2024, maybe we can tap into our inner 4-year-old.?

Certainly, the pandemic made many things difficult, but I’m grateful for the opportunity of a new ‘normal’ year and being able to reflect on what’s next.

Speaking of that … in September I finished up my time working for the US Government and the Small Business Administration.?

I’m booking speaking engagements, workshops, and coaching. Let’s schedule a call and discuss how I can be helpful to you.

So, how can we bring back that curiosity and fearlessness in the coming year? Share your thoughts as we journey into 2024!

Catch you later,

Diane

I often wonder at the curiosity, resourcefulness, and spontaneity of my 12yo daughter. Curiosity is a value I live by. The more I tap into that, the more I tap into the wonder I had as a child. But why do we have such a propensity to lose access to our curiosity as we age?
