As I read around #IWD2023 I’ve been pondering what the selected #embrace and #equity tags actually mean in practical terms.?

What does that look like across cultures, can a specific day for #IWD raise sufficient awareness to create progression when change is happening every day? Is the #EmbraceEquity tag the right one for the times we are living, where the opportunity to build healthy communities and economies is a shared one, for all humans.?

I've shared the Waterstones booklist along with the message "Some inspiration for reading to all the strong, talented and resilient women I am thankful to know." to my nearest connections. Aside from the #tags, today IS a moment to celebrate the women who are or have been present and a source of light in our lives.
