Reading : The Foundation of Wisdom
Over the years a number of people have asked me “Which is a good book to read for professional life?" This inspired me to put together a set of 100 books which I think are relevant for today’s business world. I have sourced the names from my personal experience of reading, the New York Times best seller list, the Harvard Business Review list, the Forbes best seller list as well as the Amazon best sellers list. These are excellent for gifting people on birthdays and special occasions. A footnote with a signature from a higher-up goes a long way in motivating people.
Since certain books are more relevant at a certain point in time in your professional career than others, I have segregated the books based on various positions one would hold as they grow within an organization. The books cover a range of topics from communications, self-confidence, and discipline in the early years to team building, motivation and innovation during leading and managerial roles. Subsequently for department heads and CXOs the titles cover topics of Strategy, Negotiations, Marketing, Sales, and Change Management etc. The list of books is not extensive or very exhaustive however they do cover all the major authors in the respective categories. Part 1 : For Staff
Find below books which are very good for new joiners, analysts, developers, executives, associates etc. They cover a range of topics from self-discipline, communication skills, motivation, out of the box thinking, inspiration, humanity etc. These books are excellent for gifting the newbies as it forces them to think laterally.

The book is great to put things in perspective and get a lot more out of your life, than what you are currently getting from it. Hear it straight from the life management expert who has been instrumental in the improvement of many lives all over the world.
Failing Forward : John C Maxwell
