The book tells the story of Molly Gray, a young woman struggling to survive who takes a job as a maid in upscale hotel. But when she starts working there, she finds things aren't quite what she thought they were and she finds herself entangled in a dangerous and complicated web of secrets and lies.
The author does a great job of building tension and suspense throughout the novel, making it difficult to put down. The characters are well developed and the plot is well crafted with unexpected twists and turns. Therefore, you can keep guessing until the end. Prose's writing style is clear and concise, makes the story easy to follow, is well-paced, and has just enough action and drama to keep the reader engaged without being overwhelming.
