Is your writing readable?
Just because you can string a few sentences together doesn’t mean people will get what you’re saying. This is especially true when it comes to B2B content marketing jargon. We took a closer look at the art of readability and broke it down into clear ideas, words and sentences. Also, no corporate speak and be brutal when it comes to editing yourself.
TikTok launches text only posts
Video sharing social platform TikTok is expanding into text content. Limited to a 1,000 character limit, users can customise with unique backgrounds and stickers. While it’s probably a simple attempt to compete with Threads and X (née Twitter), it shows that the big social players still see a demand for the written word. Don’t forget readability just yet.
Where is TikTok popular?
Now that you can use TikTok for video and copy, where are you going to find the biggest audience? In June this year, users in Brazil downloaded the app 5.6 million times. Indonesia came in second with just under five million downloads. In case you were wondering where the smallest audience is? It’s Germany, with just under 900,000 downloads.

While marketers may look for short term gains on social media, you can build longer term engagement on TikTok — if you take the time.
