To Read or Not To Read...

In January, I read the 20-Minute Networking Meeting by Marcia Ballinger & Nathan Perez. In February, I will read Switch by Chip & Dan Heath. FULL DISCLOSURE: I DON'T LIKE TO READ!!! Correction*** I DON'T MAKE READING A PRIORITY!!! New Year's Resolution? Perhaps. How about Personal Development? Absolutely. (It also might have to do with dating an English Teacher...but that's neither here nor there...) Here's what I commit to doing differently:

1.) Take Notes. 2.) Do My Homework. 3.) Be Thankful.

Here's what I learned in January:

1.) "What can I do for you?" It's powerful. 2.) "Throughout each discussion, you will display your preparedness." Preparation is deserved. 3.) Employee recommendations, face-to-face discussions and referrals are vital.
