We are all digital 360 degrees. Paperless.
But then we still go around with physical business cards, and we go in a panic if we leave for a business trip or go to a meeting and have forgotten them.
Really? No More.
LinkedIn has, for some time, a new feature: LinkedIn Code
Each Linkedin App on mobile has your own QR code and can scan others.
I was at an event in London at that became instantly the sensation of the evening with people virally going around and telling others. So much better!
This is how it works:
- Look at the end of the search bar, there is a small QR code symbol, click on it
- Ask the other person to do the same
- You both end up on a page where there are two options: A. Scan, B. My Code
- Scan the other person code (or vice-versa) and you are brought to their profile page where they can then connect or just do a screenshot
Here is the link to their how-to page:
Almost everybody has LinkedIn these days - so this seems really a good alternative finally.
Qr code strikes back! Thanks Carlo De Marchis

5 年Even better as more people add address and phone #s to profiles. Click to call from profile would be ideal.
