Reach new heights with the latest digital marketing updates from a host of industry leaders
#NottmDigital: the Main Stage round-up
After a year in the making, with over 600 attendees, 40 inspirational speakers and 8 fantastic sponsors, the Nottingham Digital Summit is over for another year!
We spent the day learning about the latest digital marketing trends and absorbing expert knowledge and insights across all specialisms.
The focus of the day certainly seemed to be on the power of human connection in marketing, especially in the age of AI and machine learning.
While we hope you were able to attend and enjoy the day, we know some of you weren’t able to make it or missed out on one talk while attending another. That’s why we’ve written up the key, exclusive insights from each talk that took place on the Main Stage last week??
Plus, recordings of each talk will be coming to our Youtube channel very soon ??
Our client, Sygnature Discovery, share their success story
Sygnature Discovery, world-leading integrated drug discovery contract research organisation, came to us for help improving their Google Ads account performance and achieving substantial growth.
By revamping the account structure and optimising campaign management to draw on the principles of Hagakure for driving effective performance from automated bidding, we were able to transform Sygnature Discovery’s Google Ads account into a powerful and efficient marketing tool.?
In one month we saw a 182% increase in leads, an 85% decrease in cost per lead and conversion rates increased from 0.69% to 2.37%.
Marketing AI: how are ad execs feeling?
The Drum polled 10 leading marketers from The Drum Network on how they’re feeling amid AI mania and how they think it'll change the marketing industry.
Spoiler alert: they don’t quite agree.
Our Director of Growth and Innovation, Ben Wood, explained how he feels cautiously optimistic about what AI will do to the marketing industry, but believes that many marketers are fuelling unrealistic expectations and misrepresenting AI’s capabilities.?
Ben said: “If a random person with no background in art can use Midjourney to produce decent art, a good artist can and should do better. This analogy should extend to every area of marketing and indeed business as a whole.”
