RE-ROUTING
Have you noticed how Google Maps never yells, condemns or castigates you if you take the wrong turn? It never raises its voice and says,?
》》You were supposed to go LEFT at the last crossing, you idiot!
》》Now you’re going to have to go the LONG way around
》》it’s going to take you SO much more time?
》》& Of Course LATE for the meeting AS ALWAYS
》》You surely lack grey matter in your brain!
》》Learn to pay attention and listen to my instructions!
..If it did that, chances are, a lot of us might stop using it.
But Google simply 'Re-routes' and shows you the next best way to get there. It's primary interest is in getting you to reach your goal, not in making you feel bad for having made a mistake.?
There’s a profound lesson here. It’s tempting to unload one's frustration and anger on those who have made a mistake especially when you hold that 'position' to do so. But the wisest choice is to help in fixing the problem, & to shun one's blaming attitude. Sometimes one's role may demand him/her to respond to the situation in a so called 'strict' way so as to avoid future lapses, but one should bear -
a. that right 'mix' is imp. The right amount of coffee powder and sugar works! Not excess, not less.?
b. The response should be driven by a pure & objective intent and not prompted by one's attachment to his/her own opinions, ego, anger, vengeance.?
While we all want to achieve that 'best case scenario', those targets, deadlines, adhere to the processes & systems, but there may be factors beyond control.?
'Take charge, shift gears & Re-route'?:)
