Re: The ROE on injection molds-GBM Mold

Lately, in GBM Mold, we are helping some customers to make small production, the injection molds and raw materials are provided by the customers, we help to trial and make the production.

Then we started to dry the raw material according to material specification, using required temperature and timing for drying. Then start to adjust the parameter.

With normal qualified injection mould, around half an hour to max one hour, we could get a stable parameter to start production, with flash free and OK level surface parts; But quite some customer provided injection molds, maybe take 5 or 6 hours, couldn't get good parts, either there is flashes, or sticking on the mold issues, etc.

Then in order to help the customer out, we have to trim the flash manully or put release oil every several shots, couldn't run the molds under fully automatically situation. The molds are sick. Even though we are paid for this, but we feel very low valueable.

Nowedays, the labor costs are increasing rapidly, automatically production is something we should always keep in mind to optimise the cost. We consider that, it is very necessary to invest on high quality injection molds. Only high quality injection molds, could produce constantly high quality plastic parts.
