Initially, this article might not seem as if it fits on LinkedIn, professionally speaking.
However, I submit to you, that in order to be truly effective, you need to have a clear, clean emotional body intact. The emotional body is where it’s at, it governs your mood, your level of thinking, and ultimately your level of productivity.
The new Entrepreneur, The Quantum Age Entrepreneur, thus prioritizes cleaning out all of their suppressed emotional debris from within their psyche. This is done to be able to achieve the ultimate level of productivity by tapping into the nonlinear domain of thought.
Linear thinkers are a dime a dozen, they will fill the cubicles and, if not careful, eventually be replaced by AI.
However, the nonlinear thinker, the Quantum Age thinker, will forever remain productive and fulfill a role in the needs of the people. This is because all solutions and innovations come from the nonlinear domain of thought. And, in order to tap into this level of thought, one needs to have integrated all of their suppressed emotions.
Over-Mentalized Society
Our society has become so over-mentalized as to virtually preclude the ability to tap into your emotions on command. Instead, the average person has to wait for an extreme event in order to be able to feel anything.
The average person must be confronting by some sort of extreme situation in order to trigger an emotional reaction big enough to finally allow the body to process out any suppressed emotion.
This is also why the average person will virtually sleepwalk through life, because they have become deadened to the ability to feel.
Not enough time in nature, not enough time connecting with the person or people next to you, not enough physical exercise, and way too much attention to mainstream media create a shell of mentalization that blocks out the ability to feel deeply.
In turn, this creates a society of power-externalized people who are always looking outside of themselves for guidance about their own lives. This, in turn, feeds into over-mentalization as the entrainment deepens and lends to a petty sense of elevated self-importance.
In such way, small-thinkers are rewarded virtually for their petty observations via social approval by parroting out the latest trendy phrase that the masses will virtuously applaud.
Breaking Free
The unknown secret to breaking free of this mass hysteria is to do the inner work, to take the emotional journey. This begins with the process of re-learning how to feel.
You can begin by monitoring how you feel in each moment.
How do I feel now?
How about now?
In the beginning, it may seem as if I’m asking you to make it into a full time job. This is just the ego backdooring in an attempt to get you to not do the work. Understand, this work is the death of the ego, the death of the small-self. The ego loves self-importance and so if it feels this will attack your sense of self-importance, then it will rebel.
The Quantum Age Entrepreneur is not self-important, instead, they are excited about the possibilities.
You see, when you drop the petty self-importance, then that childlike innocence can begin to enter back into your life. That sense of wonder about the world and life is part of the key to entering into the nonlinear domain of thought.
However, in order to get there, you have to begin to ask yourself the tough questions.
What is bothering me right now?

Could I allow myself to welcome this (problem/person/feeling/situation) to be here right now?
Could I allow myself to fully feel it? (keeping in mind, the more suppressed your emotional body is, the longer it will take for this process to begin to work)
Could I allow myself to feel this as strongly as I possibly can?
One of the things that happens with many people who are initially interested in experimenting with this process of re-learning how to feel is that they do not feel anything at first. And, since we’ve been indoctrinated to believe everything is supposed to happen the second we try it, they quit immediately.
The way past this is to do a little bit of this work, asking yourself to feel, surrendering into the feeling, every single day. It doesn’t need to dominate your day, just five minutes a day will begin the process.
Be Ready For It
It could be that, if you start this process, and you do it for five days in a row and feel nothing, that on day six a big breakthrough happens. When/If this happens, you need to realize that it’s a good thing, not a bad thing.
Here again, we have to bypass the indoctrination that it’s bad to feel so called ‘negative emotions.’ That ‘something is wrong’ if we allow ourselves to feel grief, despair, sadness, etc.
Depression is just unallowed grief and sadness. Once allowed to fully express, your life will take on a different quality.
So, upon the consistent execution of this exercise, where you are verbally asking yourself the above questions, there could come either a small or big breakthrough. The idea is to allow the body to process out these emotions by letting it express itself.
Sometimes there is lot that needs to come out. In this case it could take a few days or perhaps even weeks of daily sessions of sitting with your emotions and letting them process out.
The key here is, again, to realize that nothing has gone wrong, but instead, is finally going very right.
We’ve become so scared of our emotions that, for many people, an instant panic sets in the moment you start to feel the body finally begin to express itself. The subconscious programming is to instantaneously find something to distract yourself in an attempt to try to repress it.
Instead, you are going to take the radical step of fully, consciously allowing your body to express itself and process out these emotions.
This is the path to becoming the new entrepreneur, The Quantum Age Entrepreneur, which is someone who has the ability to change the world with innovations derived straight from the nonlinear plain of thought.
