Re-Introducing Myself on LinkedIn

Re-Introducing Myself on LinkedIn

So over the years I've been through a lot of changes whether it be life, career and location. I thought it was worth hopping on the trend seeing as I think it's perfect timing and also because of these changes I feel like my network has a wide range of people. Also, I wanted to take a break from posting to make sure this was seen by my network.

Who am I?

Jamie Larson, a multi-skilled individual who loves to mix a bit of my work with my play. I have a bachelor's in media comms which focused on radio broadcasting.

For the last 12 years I've worked predominantly in the radio broadcasting/audio industry professional but I've been a part of the industry since before even graduating high school.

After some life decisions and things being turned up by the pandemic, I sort of assumed that I would never return to the industry and it would be a past relic that I would reminisce about. However, as it seems as with most things in my life, things fell into place.

What do I do?

Today I'm the Growth Manager for Cue Podcasts and as such I speak with CEO's, Entrepreneurs, Enterprises and anyone in between about the power of podcasting for #branding and #marketing. I'm also a musician in my spare time, I write blogs and I'm a board game fanatic.

I have the pleasure everyday of getting to meeting interesting people across a variety of sectors and I get to learn more about how amazing leaders and businesses are driving innovation, disrupting the common thought & bringing about change.

Because of my background I have had the pleasure of being in-front of the mic, behind the desk, in the office, and out-in-the-field.

I have a better understanding of the processes which go into production because I've been there and done it from all sides.

I know what my clients need but I understand the scope of creativity because I have been there - In some ways I balance the expectations and the wants to a compromise that works for both ends.

Moving forward on LinkedIn

So, what's can you expect from me now?

Content about the great work from Cue.

Speaking about #podcasting and it's influence in branding.

Personal recommendations of content I'm enjoying.

Stories about my work in the industry.

Interesting articles that caught my attention.

The odd travel photos or post about where I am.

Learning experiences.

While I won't be holding myself to a strict posting schedule I want to be more active on LinkedIn because the community has given me so much and I feel like I want to invest my time in this space and I can help make better connections between communities.

I have met some amazing people and had the opportunity to introduce some really top class people to each other and it's all just happened through casual chats and connections.

Also, I want people to know that I'm here and ready to speak with you if you have any questions about the industry, podcast production or you just want to have a cheeky chat.

Thank you for all of your kind words, comments, likes and all the rest. I will be here to create and connect with you all more.
