Re-Determine Your Role

Redesign your job so that it has the highest impact on the success of your company. Conduct a survey of your activities and tasks for several weeks. Then mark the high-payoff activities and low-payoff activities based on the impact they have to your business. Use this insight to redesign your job and delegate the low-payoff activities to someone else, like a team member or outsourcing company. Or you might consider automating them or eliminating them altogether.
