Foreign Investment Under the Magnifying Glass: Unveiling Ireland's Third Country Transactions Act 2023 (6 mins)

On 31 October 2023, Ireland joined fellow EU Member States by signing into law, legislation which gives effect to EU Regulation 2019/452, more commonly known as the EU Foreign Direct Investment Regulations and on 6 January 2025, the Screening of Third Country Transactions Act 2023 commenced implementing the regulations.

Interrogatories - An underused tool in the litigation toolkit? Recent changes may assist (3 mins)

Since 31 July 2024 litigants are now able to deliver up to twenty interrogatories without applying for leave of the court which may lead to their prevalence in High Court litigation.
