Design Mechanical & Multidisciplinary modules from the initial concept to release as a part of R&D department, with reference to medical and safety device standards, and focus on customers and business specifications.
Calculate factors like tolerance, dimensions, and thermal and structural analysis.
Find creative design solutions to problems. Present prototypes and designs to customers and project managers. Conduct Risk Analysis & FMEA .
Involve in product integration, verification, reliability, qualification, environmental and safety tests in external LAB and in-house. Conducting FTA and detecting preferred system technical solutions. Write accurate protocols and reports.
Design Jigs & Fixtures. Involved in transfer to production, support production lines,
Availability to travel abroad and domestically.
Requirements:
B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering
At least 3-7 years proven experience in engineering environments of multi-disciplinary or medical products. Experience in Machining, Design hydraulic & pneumatic elements, Sheetmetal, Injection molding, Extrusion, Electronic packaging.
Proficiency in SolidWorks & ePDM - Must
Knowledge in DF’x (A\M\C\T\S) methodology and GD&T implementation - Preferred
Knowledge with other ERP, PLM - Preferred
Knowledge of standards and regulatory: DIN, ASTM, ISO 13485, IEC 60601 CFR21, IEC 60601, UL, CE, etc’
Fluent in Hebrew and English. Additional languages are preferred
