The Fluids Business Unit (FBU) is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join ANSYS Fluent development team. This engineer will work with the Research and Development team that creates state of the art software for computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis. The successful candidate will participate in the research, design, and development of the computer graphics and scientific visualization capabilities for ANSYS Fluent software. Worked on technologies like C++, OpenGL, DirectX, 3D Graphics, and CAD domain. Someone who has Computer Graphics or Scientific Visualization.

R&D Engineer II | Pune | 3 to 5 years work experience | 7002

The R&D Engineer II is responsible for incorporating advanced engineering features in our Mechanical flagship product. These advanced engineering features, in the areas of fracture mechanics, linear dynamics, non-linear mesh adaptivity, contact, coupled physics, etc., are exposed in the Mechanical flagship product such that users can solve most challenging real life engineering problems in an integrated, intuitive and simplistic environment. Research, design and implement features in a state-of-the-art Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) software application based on the Finite Element Method (FEA). Design and implementation of object-oriented application features using programming languages such as C++ coding and problem solving. Someone strong in Mechanical knowledge.

R&D Engineer | Pune | 0 to 3 years work experience | 7130

This engineer will work with the Research and Development team that creates state of the art software for computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis. Solid, demonstrable programming skills in at least one programming language (preferably C/C++/Qt). Strong background in data structures, algorithms and debugging.

As a C++ Software Engineer within Ansys Granta, you will be responsible for building the gateway for our flagship product, GRANTA MI. Our Gateway links CAD, CAE & PLM systems used by thousands of designers and analysts to GRANTA MI, the leading system for materials information management. Developing clean maintainable code, predominantly in C++ and the latest C++ frameworks, to allow clients access to our platform via CAD, CAE & PLM systems. Significant development experience of object-oriented programming in C++, including knowledge of the latest C++ libraries. Worked with cross-platform development technologies on Windows and Linux. Development experience of XML technologies, including WSDL, XSD, SOAP. Good knowledge of at least one secondary language (e.g. C# .NET, VB .NET, Python, Java).

R&D Engineer II (Angular Developer) | Pune | 3 to 7 years work experience | 7115

As an Angular / TypeScript Software Engineer within Ansys Granta, you will be responsible for building front-ends to our flagship product, GRANTA MI, the leading system for materials information management. Developing clean, maintainable cross-browser code in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript and HTML/CSS to drive a new generation of web applications. Evolving and extending our great automation test coverage using tools such as Protractor and Jasmine. Knowledge of cross-browser Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS. R&D Verification Engineer II (Manual & Automation Testing) | Pune | 3 to 7 years work experience | 7408

Candidates need to have experience working on Manual & Automation Testing. Good to have worked on Testing technologies like Selenium, C# and GIT and other Testing Automation tools.

The R&D Verification Engineer II will work as part of a small development team within the wider software development community. The team follows a standard software development lifecycle to develop and test new and existing components for the Granta MI product. A key part of the role is to ensure the product meets acceptable quality criteria before each release. Experience of software development using C# .NET programming language. Specify and write test cases, create, modify and update existing tests, write and maintain test scripts. Perform functional, application, regression and performance testing in manual and/or automated test environments and investigate possible causes of problems. Create test plans, participate in defect management and testing metrics. Apply standard techniques and procedures and comply with the company's overall development and testing processes. Work in a variety of computing environments (e.g. Windows, Windows Azure, Linux). Develop and enhance existing automated tests for the product.
