rCB – Improve the value of recovered Carbon Black by a factor of twenty
End-of-life tyres provide usable raw materials and serve as a source of mineral oil, gas, steel and carbon black.
The pyrolysis of whole tyres or tyre granules initially produces coarse recovered carbon black (rCB), which is of little value. Once the rCB leaves the reactor, it displays a wide particle size distribution from micrometer to centimeter. For further processing the use of efficient grinding and classifying technology is essential.
NEUMAN & ESSER provides an integrated solution as a single source partner: An ICX system for ultra-fine grinding and classifying combined with a pelletizing unit elevates dosing properties and quality of the rCB to a level that allows the introduction into new tyre production processes.
