Razakars and Allah’s Justice
It is common sense that when people have deep identity crises, they cannot have clear objectives and fundamental basic knowledge of human identity. The fundamental belief of “Islamic monotheism” would be beyond their comprehension and belief in this article.
Allah made it clear to His messenger, Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), that he must understand the concept of "monotheism." In the Quran, Allah emphasized, "So know (O Muhammad) that La ilaha illa-Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) ..." [47:19]. This means that all Muslims must have a clear understanding of monotheism before they can believe in it. Those who do not have a precise understanding of monotheism will find it difficult to believe in this fundamental principle.
?“Only the believers are those who have believed in Allah and His Messenger, and afterward doubt not but strive with their wealth and their lives for the Cause of Allah. They are the truthful.” [49:15]
?In my personal experience with Bangladeshi Bengali, Bangladeshi Bengali intellectual level is limited to Mujib and Zia and some cases, Maulana Bhashani and Rabindranath Tagore, making millions of lies and fabricated stories about them. Their mythical enemy is Pakistan; according to Bangladeshi Bengalis, Pakistanis raped 200,000 Bengalis and killed 3 million Bengalis, and Razakars took Bengalis women to the Pakistani Military camp for sex slavery, but they have no substantial evidence to provide except disrespecting others, whereas they were officially Hindu Raja and Zamindars Proza from 1793 to the East Pakistan Estate Acquisition Act 1950. Muslim League liberated them from Proza now Muslims are their prime enemy. To my understanding, it seems that being Proza was better for them than being Muslim.
The East Pakistan Estate Acquisition Act of 1950, enacted by the Muslim League, granted property rights to Proza. Prior to 1947, Purbo (East) Bongo was under the rule of over 15 thousand Hindu Rajas and Zamindars. Following 1947, the East Wing of Pakistan administered it as an East Bengal Provincial Administrative Government. Before 1947, Purbo (East) Bongo was organized into Parganas without a formal governmental system in place. The East Bengal Provincial Government transformed into the East Pakistan Government in 1955 and subsequently transitioned to the Bangladesh Government in 1972 through a provincial governmental order.
Historically, the concept of “Hazar Bochor Bengali” (thousands of years of Bengali) did not exist. According to Hindu religious scriptures, there was Bongo, which was divided by rivers into four, and Muslim rulers established over 20 thousand Parganas.
From 1969-75, the country went through serious challenges. The economy collapsed, and people were dying of starvation, gang war, land grabbing, lawlessness, gang rape, and social unrest; of course, these types of social environments were good for a few people. All slum thugs like the lifestyle of slum. The lip service lovers of Mujib were frauds, criminals, and corrupt bureaucrats was highly beneficial by renaming East Pakistan to Bangladesh but not the general public. Between 1972 and 75, all Mujib’s “Lip Service” lovers and fake Muktizodah got jobs that would have never qualified for a job under the Pakistan Civil Service Exam.

During the student "Quota Movement, Bengalis were caught up in their usual debate of "Zia or Mujib" until the chant "Tui Ke Ami Ke Razakar, Razakar," which brought up the issue of Razakars. When Bengalis mentioned "Tui Ke Ami Ke Razakar, Razakar," the descendants of Razakars felt thrilled, which changed the entire atmosphere. It's important to emphasize that Bengalis strongly oppose Razakars. They identify themselves as Bengalis and Muktijoddha first and foremost, rather than solely as Muslims. Bengalis hold deep affection for both "Mujib and Zia." This is the essence of their lively debate.
"And declare, “The truth has come, and falsehood has vanished. Indeed, falsehood is bound to vanish.” (17:81)
So, as you know, my father was the Peace Committee Standing Committee Chairman, who was a Pakistan Muslim League Presidium member and was elected by 12 East Pakistan political parties as East Pakistan Peace Committee Standing Committee Chairman; they gave allegiance to East Pakistan's stability and integrity and also to keep the United Pakistan Unity. Prior to 1972, there were two Pakistanis, East and West, and the Central Government was United Pakistan. The primary organization was the "East Pakistan Peace Committee," which maintained "Peace Committee" offices in every division, district, thana, union, and village across East Pakistan. Every resident of East Pakistan pledged allegiance to the United Pakistan and committed to preserving its integrity, irrespective of their religion. They vowed to live peacefully in East Pakistan and to promptly report any terrorist activities or presence of Indian agents to the "Peace Committee."
My second cousin (according to Indian Muslim culture nephew), MAG Osmani, played a pivotal role as a War General and Commander in Chief for the exiled Bangladesh Government during the 1971 Civil War. His leadership from April 18, 1971, to November 21, 1971, was instrumental in shaping the course of history. However, an agreement to form a confederation known as Mitro Bahini, which my cousin opposed, was reached through negotiations between Tajuddin Ahmad and Ms. Indira Gandhi.
Under this joint command structure, the Mitro Bahini combined the forces of Indian and exiled Bangladesh, led by Lieutenant General Jagjit Singh Aurora, in the eastern theatre. This formidable force comprised 29 battalions of the Border Security Force (BSF), around 30,000 certified Mukti Bahini soldiers, and over 100,000 guerrillas in December 1971 who claimed to have participated in the Bangladesh independence war. However, no official record approved this 100,000. However, there was no such thing called “Muktijoddha” during the 1971 War. From the Bangladeshi Bengali perspective, they were all freedom fighters (Muktijoddha) who fought against the invading Pakistanis to liberate themselves from colonialist Pakistanis. According to Bengalis, the Pakistani forces were looting their country and taking all their gold.
Bengali claim Pakistanis also committed acts of rape against Bengali women and killed Bengalis, and Razakars were aiding the Pakistanis. However, there were four groups were fighting against United Pakistan’s military, including East Pakistan Rangers. The term Muktijoddha was coined in 1972 as “Muktijoddha Quota” to hire those four groups to prevent “gang War.”
Razakar
The Razakars were individuals from traditional Muslim families. They were the descendants of those who contributed to the establishment of schools, colleges, Dhaka University, mosques, and madrasas in Bongo, Tripura, Arakan and Assam. They were also associated with the Muslim League on a political level.

Let's delve into the controversial word "Razakar." Before discussing Razakar, let me assure you about how I came to know about it. I was born in a mountainous village and grew up in my paternal grandfather’s village. The villagers knew nothing about Razakar at that time. My father decided to move to Sylhet City to provide my brothers with a high standard of education, including admission to Sylhet Cadet College, Sylhet Government Pilot High School, and Shahjalal Jamia Islamia School & College. Additionally, my father was the main visionary behind Shahjalal Jamia Islamia School & College, where he dreamt of providing standardized Islamic education. He tirelessly collected funds and arranged the land for the school. Despite the time and effort he invested, he did it solely for the sake of Allah, never seeking recognition except for the reward from Allah.
However, as my father was very orthodox, TV was prohibited in our home. Our neighbor sometimes used to talk about dramas on TV. One day, I went to see a drama written by Humayun Ahmed. For the first time in my life, I heard the word "Tui Razakar" in the drama. In the morning, the word accidentally came out of my mouth, and my father heard it. At first, he smiled and then asked where I heard this word. I told him that I could not tell him where I heard it from. Out of curiosity, I asked my dad if he knew what it meant. My father stared at me for a few minutes and then said, "Yes, I do, and I honor them. But first, tell me, where did you hear it from?" I told him. He then explained to me that "Razakars" were the best who wished to sacrifice their lives and wealth to preserve pan-Muslim identity. He also described them as the best fighters the world has ever witnessed and that even Iblis used to be afraid of the Razakars.
Based on information from numerous Muslim League leaders, "Razakar" has received consistently positive and favorable feedback. However, Bengalis hate Razakars, and they believe the Razakars took their sisters, daughters, and mothers and handed them over to Pakistani camps for sexual slavery. In other words, according to the Bengali interpretation, the Razakars assisted the Pakistani Army in obtaining Bengali sex slaves. Bengali mindset is that United Pakistan's military was developed in East Pakistan to only kill Bengalis and take Bengali women as sex slaves, and Razakars were aiding them to achieve this goal.
Actually, when in 1971, a civil war broke out unexpectedly in East Pakistan in April. The Bangladesh Government in exile, formed in India, started guerrilla attacks in East Pakistan from across the border. In May of that year, the leaders of the Muslim League in East Pakistan decided to support the Pakistani military in response to mounting pressure from the Youth Muslim League and Student League. They also trained a militia called the Razakars, primarily from the Muslim "Bhadra Samaj," to aid in the fight against the Indian Border Security Force (BSF), Mukti Bahini, Mujib Bahini, Qadir Bahini, and the Purbo Banglar Communist Party.
In fact, in the 1971 Civil War, there was no organized Bengali nationalist guerrilla group. However, five groups, the Indian Border Security Force (BSF), Mukti Bahini, Mujib Bahini, Keder Bahini, and the Purbo Banglar Communist Party, fought against United Pakistan’s military, including East Pakistan Rangers.
Current Situation in Bangladesh
The Current Situation in Bangladesh reminded me of the Pharaoh. Pharaoh was a tribe, unlike Bengalis. Pharaoh tribe was a ruling class where Bengalis were Hindu rajas and Zamindars’ Proza. Pharaoh was, in practice, showed superiority, whereas Bengalis showed their superiority through disrespect and “lip service.”
According to Bangladesh news media, Former Supreme Court justice AHM Shamsuddin Chowdhury Manik has reportedly been apprehended by the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) as he purportedly attempted to cross into India from the Jakiganj border area in Sylhet. The BGB Public Relations Officer, Shariful Islam, has confirmed this development to the media. Nevertheless, the precise grounds for his detention have not been promptly ascertained.
According to BGB sources, local residents initially apprehended the retired justice and subsequently notified the BGB. It has been indicated that he will be formally arrested in connection with a case filed against him at a police station in Dhaka; however, the specifics of this case remain undisclosed. Following his retirement in September 2015 from his position as a justice of the Appellate Division, Manik gained visibility through his participation in various television programs and talk shows. Notably, the circumstances surrounding his recent detainment at the Sylhet border area contribute to ongoing developments in this matter.
As far as I know, AHM Shamsuddin Chowdhury Manik was a number one fraud who went to the UK through President Ayub Khan's student exchange program. Most people knew in a one-student exchange program from East Pakistan, and three students went to the UK by forging documents. AHM Shamsuddin Chowdhury Manik was among them. However, he publicly claimed that he was a Muktijoddha and vehemently hated Razakars. During the Student Anti-Quota Movement, he accused all "Students" of being descendants of the Razakars and showed disrespect to a TV host.
“And We took the Children of Israel across the sea, and Pharaoh and his soldiers pursued them in tyranny and enmity until, when drowning overtook him, he said, "I believe that there is no deity except that in whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am of the Muslims. ?He was told, ? “Now ?you believe?? But you always disobeyed and were one of the corruptors. Today, We will preserve your corpse so that you may become an example for those who come after you. And surely most people are heedless of Our examples!” (10:90-92)
Bangladesh Independence
Throughout the world, Bengalis of Bangladeshi origin created a wave of independence “Lip Service” from Pakistani invaders. Interestingly, the Muslim League spent nearly forty years lobbying to convince West Indian Muslims to support the cause of East Indian Muslims.
According to international conventions on war, Bangladesh never officially achieved its independence. Following the lack of surrender by the Pakistani military in East Pakistan to any Bangladeshi military representative and the absence of a declaration of "Independence" in the East Pakistan legislative assembly On December 14, 1971, the entire East Pakistan government sought refuge with the Red Cross, including the Chief Minister. Subsequently, India took control of East Pakistan on December 16, 1971, resulting in the surrender of the Pakistani military to the Indian military. India and Bhutan then recognized Bangladesh as a separate country by renaming it from East Pakistan.
In 1947, the creation of Pakistan by the Muslim League dealt a blow to Indian nationalists, impacting more than five hundred million Muslims in the Indian subcontinent and leading to the emergence of a new adversary for Muslims, the Bengalis. It is anticipated that on August 5, 2024, there will be significant repercussions for India's actions.
Whatever is happening in Bangladesh is definitely from Allah's plan. PM Hasina has strategically and politically maneuvered through all the previous threatening crises but failed in the Anti-Quota Movement. It is obvious that Muktijoddha was fake and Razakars were in the Haqq. "And declare, “The truth has come, and falsehood has vanished. Indeed, falsehood is bound to vanish.” (17:81)
