Raymond Cardoza's Eulogy

Raymond Cardoza's Eulogy

My brother Raymond, there’s so much to say.

Raymond loved his family, his friends, his very best friends in the world, all his work family.

Raymond loved spending time with us all.

Raymond spent a lot of his time planning dinners, trips, and any other event he could think of.

The trips Raymond planned; the itinerary was full for every hour.

If you knew Raymond, his energy was very hard to keep up with,?but we always had fun.

And the memories of all the Excursions we took. There was always some little adventure, we all got in trouble, but it made it more memorable.

?What mattered was our family was together, our friends were together, our work family was together.

Raymond brought us all together.

He kept us together.

All our memories we have together, my brother Raymond made happen.

He kept us together and close and got us to take out time from our crazy schedules.

?My Brother Raymond was that trusted friend too.

A loyal friend beyond compare.

You can confide in Raymond; you can tell him anything.

He would never judge.

He would never tell anyone a word.

That was Raymond.

Raymond was the Friend, the dad, the brother, the son, we all confided in.

And could trust with our biggest fears, our most personal problems, anything.

Raymond, always ready to help. And he did, to more people than I even knew.

?At Cardoza, Raymond was very a hard worker. ?He dedicated most of his time to Cardoza.

Raymond’s skill, knowledge, all the successes throughout the years, relationships he built over the years, who trusted Raymond, made Cardoza what it is today.

Raymond taught us to be best and expect nothing but the best from our team.

To always be honest and take the time to groom the next generation with our Cardoza Values.

And we did and we always will.

?My Dad & Raymond gave everything to our family business.

And in Cardoza, our family meant, everyone who works for us. All my teams know that.

This is what made Cardoza Plumbing the name and reputation we have today.

Raymond and my dad will be always remembered as the Icons of Plumbing.

Generous, well yeah.

Raymond & I did pretty much everything as a team.

Raymond's generosity, well it was enormous. ?

That sometimes I would say to him, "What are we doing now?"

But he was a better person then me. Raymond did teach me to be better and taught me to enjoy the "giving".

His good deeds most times, he did with silence for others. ?He did not need the glory. ?

Raymond was grateful for all the beautiful things he had in life & wanted to share them.

??Raymond’s Strength

All through his battle with diabetes, Raymond marched on.

Suffering in silence.

Continuing to work.

Continuing to care for his family.

I can't say I know anyone stronger than my brother.

?Raymond’s children all were the Loves of his Life.

Well, two of them just came in and started working for us.

My brother eyes gleamed.

He was so happy.

?See, his daughter Christina, a trained accountant, ready to share her skills with us.

And Christina, remember, he got to see that.

You grew up into this intelligent, beautiful loving, human being.

You were the apple of his eye.

?Michael, his son becoming an adult.

Going to college, working out in the field, and getting hands dirty as a helper.

With all gifts & privileges you received from your dad.

He saw how you still Michael were, ready to take on the world, that you’re as bad ass as your dad was.

?Raymond Jr., you were the light of his life.

You brought this beautiful light, unconditional love to your dad and to us all.

We would forget and get caught up in stupid meaningless small, minded behavior.

Raymond Jr. would bring the hugs, and yell at us to stop.

You changed your dad and all of us. To remember, being a family and love was most important.

Raymond Jr. always know, your Dad was a better man because of you, we all are.

?My Mom, she’s here. ?Please give her a hug, that was her boy, her son.

The son she nurtured and loved, all his life. Nothing she didn't do for him and his children or wouldn't do for her son & the family.

?My brother will be deeply missed by us all.

?I will miss them both, my dad & my brother Raymond every day.

?Thank you all again, and I love you all.
