If it’s true that Raymarine is waiting for the next Miami Boat Show to present its most important novelties for 2017, it’s equally true that an event like the Boot Dusseldorf couldn’t be the occasion to unveil some new products. So, Raymarine presented two new entries, a sort of appetizer of the menu we’ll see in Miami in the next days.
The first novelty is RMK-10, a small keypad which replaces the Raymarine 9. In practice, it provides full control of all Raymarine multi-function displays wherever they are. Extremely compact and user-friendly, it features rubber keys, better protected against impacts and infiltrations.
The second “new entry” is an antenna which allows instruments using different launguages to communicate with each other. Micronet Puck, in fact, allows to connect Raymarine Tacktick with the rest of the wired network wirelessly.
The device includes a wide range of practical applications. Moreover, Raymarine technology allows to install instruments with no holes or cables.
A useful application is represented by the masthead transducer. With no cables or batteries, the antenna allows the masthead device and the multi-function display to connect with each other and share data.
As already said, these two novelties presented by Raymarine in Dusseldorf are just an appetizer of the range of new products and technologies the society will unveil at the Miami Boat Show, which will open its doors next February 11th.
