The aviation industry lost a great thinker, a tremendous leader, a mentor and friend when Ray Valeika died on July 10. I struggled to write this tribute to him because there is so much to say about his accomplishments and contributions, but here it is.
My friend, rest in peace and thank you for having made the world a better place.
