When oversized modules are in high-irradiation areas such as Qinghai and Xinjiang, in snowy areas in the north or in environments with reflective films, their current can reach up to 25A, far exceeding the 20A standard that the inverter can withstand, which will cause reverse The life span of the converter is greatly shortened and the power generation is lost.


In terms of cable cost, oversized components can reduce the amount of photovoltaic cables on the surface, thereby saving costs, but their normal current has caused cable losses to be too high, which is significantly higher than the cost saved by cable usage. According to the calculation of the professional team, every 3% of cable cost saved by the use of oversized components will lose 8% of the value of power generation, and the 182 component is at the best point of the overall cable cost.


In terms of the cost of the support, when the conversion efficiency of the components is equivalent and the bearing area of the single support is equivalent, increasing the area of the single module will not have a significant downward trend in the cost of the support and the pile foundation. Therefore, the current super-sized modules will not Compared with the 182 component, it has a cost advantage of the bracket. On the other hand, the load capacity of oversized components is weaker, and when applied to areas with high wind pressure or snow pressure, there is a greater risk of failure.


There are also labor costs. The specifications of the super-sized modules far exceed the limit standard of 2.6 square meters and 33 kg for the 182 modules, which has brought obvious obstacles to handling and installation, resulting in an increase in labor costs.
