What's Been Happening at Pipeline 44?

A record month!! Despite it being August, we had a record month for customer wins in our Academy, and a record month for new sales. Huge shout out to Chris Taylor for the work he has been doing to support our small business customers. Four of our latest Academy clients have secured over £26,000 between them in new revenue in their first few weeks of working with us! Using the exact methods that we teach our clients, we have had record attendance on our free workshops, with another 28 new customers making the decision to become a part of the Pipeline 44 Academy. Their journey begins now, with a combination of learning social selling and digital marketing tactics, combined with accountability and support to help them win more business from this platform. Love hearing all the wins!

Personally, I took the whole month of August off ??, to recharge, relax and spend time with my kids. It was just what I needed! I snuck in a few chapters of my next book "Linked Outbound" whilst I was in the Algarve, my home from home. This image just one of the spectacular beaches I enjoyed spending time on to think, and reflect whilst I was there.

Now I'm back we continue to deliver deep-dive Sales Navigator training to sales teams. I heard that one of of our public sector clients has just secured a contract that will put over £1.2million into the local economy, one of the main objectives of their training earlier in the year was to boost the local economy. They are diligently working their daily and weekly social selling habits, and reaping the rewards as a result.

What's in store for Q3 and Q4? We are set to be super busy with personal branding training for 40 Leaders in one of the most well-known global consumer brands. I've lots of Sales Navigator training coming up and some in-house Masterclasses for our corporate clients both online and in-person. Some big progression and changes coming for our agency offering and Academy. Can't wait to share with you what we are working on behind the scenes in future newsletter editions. The world is changing, LinkedIn is changing and we are adapting and progressing with the times.

My new book, the 2022 version of "Linked Inbound" became a best-seller in less than 24 hours, smashing all of our targets. Thanks to all of you who downloaded it on Kindle or paid for a paperback copy. I'm getting 5-10 LinkedIn messages a day from readers with amazing feedback and lovely comments about how it's helping them. In case you missed the release you can find the details here. Recently, our amazing team got together for an in-person day of team-building. We welcomed the fabulous Victoria Jepson to our remote team as a Campaign Administrator in our agency, and she got to meet everyone face to face for the first time! It was my turn to deliver the 'Fantastic Friday' event and I set everyone in the team the "Marshmallow Challenge" followed by a couple of rounds of mini-golf at the Adventure Park. Here is a quick little Instagram reel summing up a very fun day! A big shout out to all of our amazing team members: John Kyriacou , Eliz Salih , John Boyd , Karen Eley ?? and Victoria Jepson for all of the work they do to support our agency clients and Academy members! So proud of every single one of you!

How Does Social Selling Really Work? ??

I created a post to demonstrate how social selling really works. For anyone who is getting frustrated or wants leads now, this story will show you how playing the long game and being patient and consistent really pays off.

New LinkedIn? Features Round Up #newfeatures

A few updates since my last newsletter edition, I have posted about them on the newsfeed but you may have missed some of them. Please bear in mind that LinkedIn rolls out changes over time, so you may not have all of them yet. Update your LinkedIn? mobile app to be sure you are getting access to all of these and ensure you are in 'Creator Mode', as some are only available to members in 'Creator Mode'

1. Comments - You can now pin a comment of your choice underneath your post. I don't have this feature yet, but handy if you want to point people to additional resources or an external link.

2. Template Posts - You can now choose to 'Use a Template' when starting a new post from your mobile. I;m not a big fan, but an easy to create, quick and simple type of post.

3. Carousels a new type of post, where you can choose a series of videos, text and pictures, to create a Carousel. More details here. #carouselpost

4. Hashtags and Tagging - You can now add #hashtags and tag people Nicholas J. in Articles. This was only possible before in the comments of an Article or newsletter, but now you can add these in as demonstrated here. The person I tagged here is Nicholas Jones, CEO of Pipeline 44. If you aren't following him, you probably should!

5. Audio Events roll out - most people in Creator Mode now have this feature. You can create an Event and choose for it to be an online event (link out to a Zoom event for example), a LinkedIn Live or an Audio event. I haven't started using this feature yet, I plan to, but you should probably take a look to see if you now have this feature and decide if it should feature in your overall strategy to grow your audience and attract new clients. #linkedinaudioevent

6. Web link in the top of your Profile, you can now add a link to the top of your profile and either send people to a website or landing page. Myself and my team all have this set to our 100 content ideas give-away.
