Letter from Water Pig to Metal Rat 

Dear Rat,

With a few days before bowing out, I wanted to write these few words to you. During my year, I offered abundance. Abundance in emotions, challenges, sadness, joy, success and defeat. Nothing was left behind! In front of this abundance, some lost themselves. It will be up to you, Rat, to help them find their way. The whole coming year will be one of decisions and battles. People will have to fight to prove who they are. In the eyes of all, yes, but especially in front of their own mirror. They will need to choose between loyalty to themselves or others; choose between resting or pushing their limits a little further; choose between the comfort of the sun or that of the moon, between the gusts of wind or the intense waves of the ocean. So, Rat, invite them to knit an apron of lace to cover their metal armour, because the only force they will need to find themselves is that of the softness offered by simplicity and intuition. Sprinkle them with your honest and pragmatic spirit, because, sooner than later, the buffalo will be waiting for them.
