In a rapidly changing world, it's more important than ever to be adaptable and open to learning from our own experiences!

It's more important than ever to be adaptable and ready to learn. More than ever, technology is evolving and changing, and we need to be open to ideas that may be challenging or different.
Artificial intelligence (AI) can revolutionise how we build ideas, content, images, and digital content. It offers solutions like optimising article spinner quality or generating targeted content based on keywords.
I used the holiday season to look more deeply into the current AI technologies and trends and decided to create a children's book made 100% with artificial intelligence. As a result, I published my first children's book on amazon with the title "Luna the astronaut Girl; Exploring the Galaxy with Cricket".
Here are the three steps I follow to create a book from scratch and publish it in one day:
1. Brainstorm, create ideas and then build content
One way AI can be used is to generate new ideas. For example, it can analyse data patterns and trends and identify opportunities for innovation through machine learning and algorithms. AI can also help build content by analysing user data and generating personalised recommendations for topics and formats.
For example, I used Chat GPT (gpt3) and asked some questions.
The first questions allowed me to set the scene and the book's structure. The last two questions helped me with the activities within the text, e.g. crossword and Wordsearch,.. As you can see, I used AI for all parts of the book, from the figures, the story, the poems, the book description, the title, and the table of contents.
I've found that I can more easily build a story with a structured approach. Although it takes time and effort, building the story in this way allows me to create consistency. For example, if I want to introduce a character or provide more detail on an object in the story, I know exactly what to do because I can rely on my plot.
One of my last questions has been, "what are the lessons learned from their adventures?" and below the wow result.
Exploration was precisely what I have felt along my journey through various AI solutions and building this book. I am impressed with the AI ability to memorize its own story and build on top.
2. Generate and build images
AI can also generate new images in existing image styles and patterns. Creating images is essential; with this tool, you can make them without a complicated process.
My goal is to generate my images using AI from Midjourney. So, first, I talk to Chat GPT and ask it for a corresponding landscape description of the imaginary surrounding in which I want the tree adventure to take place in. Then, I enter those descriptions into the midjourney image generator and voila!

Out of the results I got, here are some scenarios that could be used as the text input for MidJoruney, and the process of creating an image. Of course, this process is a bit of trial and error, but it is lots of fun to experiment with all the possibilities this creative tool offers.
To create Luna the astronaut, I used the text "Luna is a little astronaut girl with bright blue eyes and a head full of curly red hair. She is dressed in a sleek and shiny astronaut outfit, with a helmet hanging from her shoulder. Luna stands tall and confident, looking out at the vast expanse of the galaxy with wonder and excitement in her eyes." that produced the following results.
For Luna's first exploration adventure is used the following description "landing on a planets surface as astronaut and gets greetings from strange wondrous creatures. In the background ancient ruins at the horizon dark galaxy with colorful nebula" that produced the following results.
For Lunas second adventure i used the landscape description "doughnut shaped spacecraft landing on planet with strange exoterestial creatures in the back ground the galaxy" that produced the following results.
You can always argue and debate about the images, but the fact that you describe what you want in "your own" words is terrific.
3. Design the digital book
I decided to try out Book Bolt?Book Bolt – No Content Book Research, Design, Listing - Book Bolt?to design my book. It's a service that provides a great website and templates for building your pages. It also fully complies with Amazon's KPD and features templates you can use, such as mazes, crosswords, hangman and more. This part was the more tedious part; copy/paste the content I gathered from steps 1 and 2 together and ensured the proper formatting. For each adventure, I added three puzzle activities, and to fill the remaining sites at the end; I added more puzzles, all generated with Chat GPT.
While writing this book, I used Chat GPT to help with content creation but also with the generation of SEO-focused keywords and the book summary. Finally, with my manuscript complete, I uploaded the e-book and paperback to KDP content to publish the books.
Lessons Learned
Wow, what a journey to build a complete book from ideation to final publication in 11 hours! Thinking back to good old Guentbergs first printed bible, it took him several years to develop his printing press and several more years to print the entire bible.
AI will change the way we think and work. It can be revolutionary by enabling us to analyse data in new ways. By embracing AI, our idea generation and content creation processes will become more streamlined, which means less time on repetitive tasks. Ultimately, it means we'll be able to create more personalised and relevant experiences for our users/clients.
In future, it will be hard for us to differentiate between a true artist building art with his/her hand and a creator that uses multiple AI tools for building art. The AI approach can potentially disrupt not only the creative sector, and we mustn't pit them against each other but rather see them as complementary.

1 年Hi Helmut, thanks for this! We sell on Amazon US and other online marketplaces. We're so interested in subscribing to Midjourney and using the images in our business but we still have some questions in mind. Could you please help us in answering our questions? 1. Could we potentially get sued for plagiarism without knowing it? Is there a way we can check to see if a Midjourney artwork is at risk for plagiarism? 2. If you sell something commercially that was generated by Midjourney, do you have to give credit that it was created by Midjourney? 3. If you don’t have to give credit to Midjourney, how could someone tell whether or not your design was created by Midjourney or not?
Be bold, be spontaneous, be awesome!
1 年Helmut Schindlwick Great achievement it shows that everyone’s business will be effected with new disruptions and #gpt3 is for sure a new epoch in many things like, school, media, work,… what I want to say is that it effects everyone’s life. People should think where they will use this technology and how implement it. The Why is already answered. They only thought ?? I have is when it comes to commercial/advertising and what can happen it’s important to have clear rules. In Europe we are good prepared? What about the others? Is this a disadvantage? Are we have to much regulation? What your thoughts on that?

1 年I love the inclusion of puzzles and poems and lessons learned in the book. Great ideas for engagement and learning rather than just entertainment. I hope your sales skyrocket. I also love the images from Midjourney. I've been playing with that lately and the results are astounding. Just some suggestions to get your sales rolling: 1) Ask ChatGPT for some SEO keywords to add to the listing 2) Add more images to the listing - assuming you have them 3) There are some free book sites (eg: https://www.thefussylibrarian.com/advertising/making-book-marketing-easier) where the author gives away the books for a short period of time to try to generate reviews. You might want to explore that. 4) There are certain KPIs some of the tools use to determine the health of a listing: number of Pictures (over 7), use of bullet points, number of reviews (over 10) are some of the threshholds that bring up the scores. Good luck!

1 年I have been asked a lot why chatgpt will replace google search. To underpin the statement that #chatgpt is a #google search engine killer is simple. Just ask the same question to both tools and decide for yourself what is most beneficial. Here is my sample based on my question."What is an altruistic swap in regards to Bitcoin lightning node." Google Result: Below is the same question and the Chat GPT result underneath the Google search engine result. What would be more beneficial to you? Try a question that relates to you, and let me know what you think. For me clearly 1:0 for #chatgpt3

1 年Helmut Schindlwick I downloaded the sample of your book on Kindle. In the description there is no mention about this book being created using AI. Was that a conscious decision to avoid mentioning that there and then later on mentioning it here on LinkedIn? I'm curious.
