A Rant on Universal Creativity and The Limits of Language

I’m grateful for creative expression in all forms.
Artistic expression is a fundamental aspect of human nature and through the ages has taken many forms - from cave paintings, to confounding megalithic structures.
Art transcends the human experience - the universe, through its symphony of waves, of fractal and sacred geometry, of colliding forces and boundless energy, creates a real-time composition of incomprehensible balance and splendor.
As our visual understanding of the universe becomes clearer we find shapes repeating themselves on both macro and microscopic scales - order created from chaos - and chaos created from order - again and again and again.
As I struggle to find words to adequately render just a fraction of its beauty and scale - the human need for creative expression becomes blindingly apparent.
As limited beings, art helps us transcend the limits of words, the limits of our physical being-ness. Art brings us closer, if only for a brief moment in time, to our connection with this universal composition - closer to the source.
We often have moments we’re frozen in rapture by exposure to a painting, a poem.. a song.. a sunset, a flock of birds, swirling, like a fine mist on the horizon - these things, they’re all the same - and we are the composers.
Time stops and for a moment we transcend ourselves and connect to a universal truth, a truth so vast and profound, that words cannot capture its essence.

Point to any object and ask yourself, do you really ‘know’ what that is? Conceptually, we have words, or boxes, that we use to conceptualize and make sense of our reality - but let’s stop for a moment and consider a few basic things - do the words ‘rock’ or ‘tree’ adequately capture these phenomenon? On one level, a rock, through its sheer density and mass, represents a bundle of energy and particles, moving at incredible speed - a speed so fast, not even light can pass through it - and it’s that speed that gives the rock its hardness and mass. The rock, just like us, is composed of 99.999999% empty space, yet the rock moves so fast, we can’t tell the difference. Yet, on another level, in the English language, this is just, ‘rock’.
This rock, while common and often filtered out as noise in our daily existence - is an equal part of this universal symphony - it’s universal music.
While difficult and often impractical to carry this level of consciousness with us on a daily basis - remember that the music is playing all around us - take a moment from time to time and reflect on its beauty.

Thanks for the space to rant and reflect like a mad man ?
