Now replace the word mercenary with recruiter.
I am a third party agency recruiter and there are many ways I can be beneficial for HR teams looking to secure talent for their industry.
For starters I have access to a larger talent pool and don't face as many restrictions that an internal team may face, and this can be especially helpful when seeking niche or specialized talent.
I have built my extensive network over time and have fostered relationships with passive candidates who are not actively searching for a new job but when demand is high for specialized skills where talent is scarce, access to this talent pool is critical.
Another advantage to working with a niche recruiter is time saved that can be allocated to other mission critical activities. Since recruiting is a time consuming process HR teams that already have a significant amount of responsibilities on their plate can benefit by having the majority of the recruitment process outsourced from sourcing for candidates to scheduling interviews this can free up HR teams to focus on other important tasks and can help speed up the hiring process.

A bad hire can be even more costly so by working with someone like me companies can reduce the likelihood of making a bad hire, which can ultimately save the company money in training, turnover, and lost productivity.
To wrap things up, working with a third party agency recruiter can help teams secure talent for their industry by providing access to a larger talent pool, saving time, offering expertise in recruitment, providing access to market insights, and reducing hiring costs. By leveraging the resources and expertise of a recruiter, employers can find the best talent for their organization and ensure that they are competitive in their industry.
