Let me tell you all the story of a broken heart and broken promises . It is a love story of the damned.There was this girl who had stars in her eyes and dreams of love . She wanted to be loved for the woman she was and not the persona she was.

She was beautiful and successful but more than that she was a wonderful human being. Soft at heart and soft by nature. She was in the autumn of her life and looking for a rosy winter.

There were people who loved her and tried to get close to her but she wanted the complete package of love and promises till death do us part.

The month was October and the warm weather was slowly giving way to pleasant cold winds. The times were changing and so was she. She met this stranger , a stranger to her life . He was like no other that she had met. He was charming , eloquent and intelligent. Initially she found him interesting and decided to know him more. 

This man was to be her nemesis. He was a demon in the guise of a human. He wanted some good time. He told her lies and she believed his lies. She believed him , probably because she wanted to believe him. 

Days turned into months and Autumn turned into Winter. Romance was at its peak. 

Waade diye aur waade sune. Zindagi bhar saath nibhane ke waade.Usne kaha duniya tumhi se shuru aur tumhi pe khatm hogi.

Promises were made till death do us part. He told her that she was an angel who had come into his life to bring light into his darkness. The lies continued till she was irrevocably in love with him.

With spring came reality. He was an alcoholic and a womanizer. All his stories were lies. He had used her for what she had got for him. She had shown him a world of happiness , love and respect . For many years prior to meeting her , none of these had been a part of his life . His wife and children had left him and his family had forsaken him. She tried to make his life better. Tried to give her happiness and joy to him so that he could become normal and lead a normal life .She accepted him wholeheartedly , forgiving him for everything including his womanizing   . In the process , she forsake her career and literally killed herself. All for this for a lying cheat of a man. He was a user and so was his family.

He had deliberately used her to get his self confidence , wife and family back. 

Autumn came by again. He was reformed , got a big leap in his career and la- behold his family was back with him. It was time to throw that stupid besotted girl out of his life.

So he sent her a message telling her :

My wife is back here for good. So we have to break up. I am sorry for this. It was as good as it lasted . All the best for your future.

This was the best he could manage and muster up courage to tell a person who had supported him through his weak and bad phases. He had no guts.

He did not even try and see as to what happened to her.

Let me now tell you about her. She broke down and broke down completely. She had loved this man. It took her a while to get herself together. It took all her friends a lot of time and healing to put this girl together again . She learned to live and heal.It took time . She had to rebuild her career , rebuild her heart.

Love stories do not always end in happily ever after , sometimes they end because of cheating and one sided love .

This story brings to mind a statement on Karma. You will reap what you sow. Maybe the hero of our story too will pay for breaking someones heart mercilessly.
