Random Configuration...A non-Mathematical viewpoint...:)

?...And I roll the dice to decide which room to enter in this mansion of infinite choices...and once I enter a "randomly" selected room, I roll the dice once more to decide on whether I should sit; stand; leave; walk to the left or the right. I control my destiny through each seemingly random choice...and thus create my own unique pattern of futures out of all the possible infinite, "randomly configured" choices.
- For me, the inherent paradox within the concept of "Random Configuration" represents the strange context in which we find ourselves, choiceless whether we have illusory or real freedom of choice -if the results are already pre-configured by all possible patterns within all possible outcomes in an "infinite set,"....all possible random outcomes can then theoretically manifest. This leaves us choiceless and we are then left with only the illusion that permits us to function in this Matrix. In truth, we cannot be directionless, no matter how random we believe our choices to be,no matter how misguided our intentions may seem to be, because all is happening perfectly- in a randomly predetermined fashion...:);):)
- I feel that it is very difficult to predict the "more probable" choices with traditional methodologies because things can change in an instant when the" wild cards" are introduced. E.g, Nature; changes in health; moods that modify our individual choices(fluctuating emotional states that influence our behaviour) are still "Wild Cards." We can outline various scenarios as futurists, but we do have to bear in mind that all variables cannot be known to us as we make these calculations.
- Randomness is exciting- it is a hidden pattern that we are subject to and yet unwittingly creating at the same time....we are ants with feet dipped in ink creating images indadvertently -spots and stained tendrils on the fabric of the Multiverse and we cannot make sense of these blotches from our "flatworld" perspective.
- We do not have a "helicopter view" of what pattern these spots make.....This is where a Metacognitive approach helps me- I use my "sixth sense" and "sniff out" the more likely probable outcomes of each scenario. This is why I defiantly refer to myself as a Visionary Futurist.
Our objectives and our intentions most certainly do matter, but we should not aim for a Utopia re "Collective Humanity" agreeing on ideals etc. The ripple effect of even a few like-minded individuals can still affect outcomes. I do not even believe that Utopian ideals are necessarily desirable because Assymetry ensures that the potential for change remains. Perfect Symmetry is static, a perfectly balanced scale is static...There would then be nothing to strive for. That state is an awareness of the undifferentiated consciousness, the Source. It is already the Reality, we cannot "bring it about." We need to "play the game" right now for all that it is worth and try to "load the dice" in favour of humanity wherever possible in the "Matrix."
