Ramsons Arts Partnership
Why would a contractor decide to create a corporate giving partnership that centers on the arts? Why wouldn’t we instead focus on something like engineering, craft education or architecture??
Those are the questions we were first asked when we decided to launch the Ramsons Arts Partnership. The answer is simple: the arts build people and the arts are dramatically underfunded.?
We understand and appreciate the role “the arts'' play in personal and cultural development. We also understand and appreciate the role “the arts'' play in our economy. In 2022, the arts contributed $1 trillion to the US economy. But despite the economic, personal and cultural contributions, the arts are dramatically underfunded. Local school bands struggle to pay for brass instruments, local arts related nonprofits struggle to meet the rising costs of materials and the demand for performance, educational and exhibit space far exceed the actual space currently available. Ramsons wants to help fix those problems by providing in-kind and monetary support. So, we decided to launch the Ramsons Arts Partnership.
Our first donation was to Williams Baptist College and our contribution will help pay for their chapel renovation project; they are converting the historic structure to a state-of-the-art performance space.???
At Ramsons, we understand the importance of building our community through the arts, and we are committed to continuing our efforts in North East Arkansas. The Ramsons Arts Partnership’s donation to WBU is just the beginning of our contributions. We are always seeking new opportunities to support and collaborate with others in enriching our community. We welcome discussions with organizations and individuals who share our vision and are eager to explore ways we can further make a positive impact. Together, we can help foster a vibrant, creative, and thriving community for all.
