There’s now just under a week to go before this year’s BBC Showcase launches on 28th February. It’s where we aim to give our customers from all over the world the opportunity to hear from, and connect with, top talent and creatives. It is the next pivotal moment in bringing our amazing content to life and driving important conversations, from discussions around funding for early-stage projects through to selling and marketing fully-fledged programmes.

I couldn’t be more proud of the outstanding slate to take to market, developed by multi-award-winning creatives such as Sally Wainwright (Happy Valley 3), Bash Doran (Life After Life) and Daisy May Cooper (Am I Being Unreasonable?) supported by some of the best talent in the business. Our catalogue is brimming with premium titles – from gripping drama to hilarious comedy; breath-taking natural history to compelling formats - and a host of engaging children’s titles that are both fun and educational. It genuinely offers something for everyone.

Some particular highlights include Life After Life, Happy Valley S3, The Birth of Daniel F Harris(w/t), Chivalry, MOOD, The Outlaws S2, Avoidance, I Hate You, Louis Theroux’s Forbidden America, Frida, Spectacular Earth, landmark natural history series Dynasties II and Frozen Planet II as well as Bluey and new formats, Surprize Fund and The 1% Club.

Plus hearing from the best of our very own leaders within the BBC: the BBC’s Director-General, Tim Davie, Chief Content Officer Charlotte Moore and BBC Studios’ Chief Executive Tom Fussell will be offering their first-hand perspectives on what makes the BBC one of the world’s foremost creative organisations.
